Is a Turkish artist who lives and works in Munich. She studied in Ankara at Bilkent University's School of Architecture, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department. She has been artist in residence in Amsterdam, Vienna and Helsinki; in 2003 she was a guest artist at the Paris Recollets Institute. She has exhibited internationally in numerous group exhibitions including Istanbul Biennial (1997 & 99); Sonsbeek 9 (2001) and Sao Paulo Biennial (2002). Özseçen's work covers a range of exploration from sculpture and strategies of interior design to video and photography.
