Completed Table

Walk into the the workshop at the Old Sorting Office and you will be greeted with this amazing sight and the smell of freshly sanded and oiled timber. The Table weighs about 5 tons  and is almost 4 meters in diameter.

We will be celebrating the achievement The Table represents with a meal for all 33 people involved in the project so far. In honour of Brancusi, the inspiration behind the Table, the meal will be East European, with the Cook & Chill chefs, led by Paul Smith, following a recipe kindly donated by Alina Darozhka.

Then the base needed turning before  all the pieces were reassembled.
